Survive! Garage

SURVIVE! Garage was established in 2009 by artist Bayu Widodo and functions as a community-run alternative space and art shop. SURVIVE! Garage works with a range of artists and communities from Indonesia, and supports young independent, and emerging artists.

Managed by a group of young artists, collectively known as the SURVIVE! Fun Familia, the independent art space presents a wide range of activities, providing a space to exhibit, and run performances and workshops. Every year they hold a large group exhibition, called Keep The Fire On, which acts as a fundraiser to help support the running costs of the space.

SURVIVE! Garage aims to enable an alternative forum for artists who sit outside mainstream art culture, and to provide a community base from which artists can connect.Contact
